Every week, our kitchen prepares and delivers over 5,000 fresh meals to hospital patients and community members in need. This is not just a warm meal — it is a ray of hope and a partnership in bearing the burden.

A certified Mehadrin kosher kitchen operating under strict rabbinical supervision and hygiene standards. Over 5,000 fresh meals leave our kitchen every week — bringing warmth, sustenance, and hope.
Daily hot meal distribution at Tel HaShomer (Sheba) Medical Center — providing food for patients and caregivers who observe strict kosher standards, and offering a warm shoulder of support and a ray of hope.
Chasdai Ish was founded when we saw just how much the community needs a helping hand — in times of celebration and in times of hardship. And from there, as the way of chesed goes, it grew into a true empire of kindness — delivering food to hospitals where there is no Mehadrin kosher option, and providing support to the community in partnership with professional organizations and rabbinical leaders.
Our mother was hospitalized in intensive care, and during Shabbat we had no meals. We reached out to you, and received a warm and immediate response — within minutes a hot delivery arrived from Beitar to Tel HaShomer. Incredible help in a moment of truth! Thank you for the efficiency and humanity.
As a chemotherapy patient, weak and struggling, your meal was a true lifeline for me. My caregiver, who had gone hours without eating, was so grateful too. Beyond the food itself, you sanctify God’s name — even a secular man watching the distribution was deeply moved by your generosity.
We wanted to say a huge thank you and express our deep appreciation for your boundless giving, for your thoughtfulness and care. For nourishing meals that bring us joy, for the tremendous help before Passover, and for all your many deeds and great acts of kindness — all done with grace, quietly, and behind the scenes.
A profound thank you for your moving work at Tel HaShomer hospital. For two and a half months we enjoyed warm and delicious meals every day, served with warmth and love by dedicated volunteers. Beyond the physical help, we also received emotional support during a difficult time, and this kindness touched our hearts deeply.
When your heart aches and your mind is full of worry, when you are running between hospital wards and your heart stays by your loved one’s bed — who even thinks about food? In the hospital, a warm meal is a luxury that is sometimes simply forgotten. But then suddenly a meal arrives — homemade, wrapped in love.
On Jewish holidays, the need is even greater. While families gather around festive tables, hospital patients and their caregivers are often left without.
While we all gather around the holiday table, celebrating as free people —
there are dear brothers and sisters drowning in their own darkness.
We prepare for them an elegant Seder night, set according to all traditions, with the highest kosher standards — so that even in their most difficult hour, they can feel the warmth of the holiday.
In the days when we kindle
a little more light,
fighting the darkness —
we bring meals,
with holiday spirit,
to warm the hearts of those
who need it most.
When you’re in the hospital, Purim joy
is the most unnatural thing.
Even there, Chasdai Ish volunteers arrive
with an elegant Purim feast
that brings joy and hope
to patients and their families.
The Chasdai Ish kitchen was founded in 2020 in the city of Beitar Illit, driven by a simple and clear mission: to be there for the community — in life’s most delicate moments.
The organization works tirelessly to provide warm, strictly kosher meals to hospital patients, new mothers, mourning families, and community members in need. Every meal is prepared with care and delivered with compassion.
Chasdai Ish is privileged to operate under the guidance, mentorship, and warm blessings of leading rabbinical authorities.
