Our Team

The people behind every meal, every delivery, every moment of dignity.

Group 72

Rabbi Dovid Schreiber

Founder & CEO

Founded Chasdai Ish in 2020 from a single act of kindness — a bowl of rice and carrots delivered on foot to an elderly widow who hadn’t eaten all day. Six years later, he leads an organization that has served over 760,000 meals. A visionary driven by the belief that no one should feel forgotten.

Eli Schreiber

VP Kitchen Operations

Oversees the full-scale mehadrin kitchen in Beitar Illit — from 5:30 AM prep to the last tray sealed for delivery. Manages kashrut compliance, menu planning, dietary accommodations, and the coordination of dozens of daily volunteers. The engine behind every meal.

Ze'evi Eisenbach

VP Field Operations

Manages the logistics that turn cooked meals into delivered dignity — routing refrigerated vans across Israel to hospitals, IDF bases, evacuation hotels, and shelters. Coordinates real-time field operations and ensures every meal reaches the right person at the right time.

Yisrael Gottfried

Head of Military Division

Leads the IDF support program, building direct relationships with base commanders and coordinating weekly deliveries to over 35 military installations. Ensures soldiers on remote outposts receive hot meals and a reminder that someone back home is thinking of them.

Shlomo Rabinowitz

VP External Relations

Manages donor relations and institutional partnerships. Serves as the primary liaison with foundations, community leaders, and partner organizations. Builds the trust and transparency that have earned Chasdai Ish its reputation for integrity.

Nachum Rabinowitz

VP Resource Development (CDO)

Leads fundraising strategy and development operations. Architects major donor campaigns, grant applications, and the organizational roadmap for scaling from 5,000 to 15,000 meals per week. The bridge between vision and the resources to make it real.
